We were asked by Wintershall from Noordwijk to arrange a 5-day event. Wintershall had to host the organization and after a pitch from various offices, they picked us as an organization partner for the entire event and all social activities in the Southern part of Limburg. Together, we spent 1,5 years on the preparation of this event.
Various boards of big energy- and gas companies were invited for the budget meetings of Noordwinning, who also celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2019. The goal was to make it an unforgettable 5-day event.
Around 45 budget meetings were planned at Château St Gerlach, for around 100 participants, all of whom arrived and left on different days, with different flights and transfers. Events Company built a customized registration site for the participants, to select meetings, the hotel nights, social activities, lunches and dinners, and much more.
After the invitation process and the registration, the event begun. We had booked the top, Michelin star, restaurants for the lunches and dinners. For those who were not attending the meetings on that day, social activities were put in place, such as a visit to the mines of Blegny, a tour through the city called ‘Taste Maastricht’, a Running Dinner, various restaurant visits, a shopping tour through Maastricht, a visit to a real Limburgian wine domain, a workshop flan baking… and much, much more…
Half way through the week, we hosted a common program for all the participants and their partners. Everyone was taken by an authentic oldtimer bus through the Southern Limburg Hills, where our enthusiastic guides told everything there was to know about the sights of the surroundings. The guests then enjoyed a lunch with live music in the tower of Ipanema, in the Bonnefanten museum.
When the guests came back to their hotel rooms, they found a customized and fully fitted Medieval costume for the ball. During the evening, we hosted an unforgettable anniversary dinner at Château Neercanne, which was booked exclusively for our party. During the dinner, the harper and pianist provided suitable music. As a surprise, the famous sand artist Gert van der Vijver made an appearance. The evening was topped off with a bashing and spectacular fireworks show.
Events Company was available in a kiosk throughout the entire week for questions, changes, and last minute (de)registrations for the event.
